Your question answers itself. If you know God, you know God. There is no room for doubt. Exactly as you don't doubt fire once you know it. If God were apart from you, or even just permeating you, such god cannot be omnipresent. Furthermore, mystery, paradox, and not-knowing are the hallmarks of Universe and science. Also, the way you understand freedom is rather selective. You rejoice that you are free from church dogma, and yet, you are still utter slave to the society and its rules as such. Maybe it's because you don't recognize that the voice in your head is always just voice in your head.

Well, as I said in my previous reply to you, and to use the language you understand – not only you worship an idolized image of God you also use God's name in vain. All in all, and to paraphrase “your book”, you were created in the image of God. Of course, God is not the mirror, but there is nothing but God. Find out who you are, then you will also know God beyond any doubt. You will see him with your physical eyes even though you won't be seeing anything more than what you are looking at right now.

And of course, Jesus didn’t abolish the law, he didn’t even save you. That work is on you.
