You literally cannot see the forest for the trees--"saying that the universe matters subjectively to us" does not concede "that we're not objectively meaningful to the universe" simply because "us and universe" is a false dichotomy. We *are* (part of) universe. No amount of mental gymnastics can obfuscate the overwhelming scientific evidence that elaborates on this fact. Thus when universe subjectively matters to us, universe subjectively matters to itself (which includes us). Also, show me objective perspective. I'm certain you will fail.
