Yes, this is what happens when people pursue “self-love”. Ironically, self-love cannot be pursued. It emerges on its own once you know who is “I”. After all, it’s what we all are. Your approach is a good start, but go deeper. Past Sartre and Camus — they told only a small part of the whole story. Then you may realize that self-love and loving others are one and the same. But as I said, it cannot be “induced” — it arrives with self-knowledge.
