Yes, there is no secret. And yet you talk about religion (as a means to an end), the same religion which is the epitome of "any kind of ideology or promise of something better." Or is that a part of that ambiguity you are talking about? Well, to me it sounds more like a very elaborate and clever self-deception. As if you would like to have your cake and eat it too. Which is technically possible, but the only way to accomplish that is to eat it and then collect it after it passes your gastrointestinal tract. It may even take a shape of a nice cake, if you are healthy and lucky :D But, again, you are correct -- it's perfectly ok that we see and approach things differently ;)
