Where does the flame go when it goes out? What is outside of universe and can you go there? Who or what experiences “qualia of consciousness”? Is there any other point of view except the first person subjective I? Do autists or schizophrenics lack first person experience? Do they feel pain? Do animals? How can you create immortal physical existence in a universe that will end one day in one way or another, or at least end in a state not conductive to life? How can such physical form demonstrate anything about consciousness? And most importantly – why do you speculate in your armchair, if there are ways to know the nature of consciousness first hand? Are you unconscious? Or not existing? Is there something else that prevents you from revising your point of view? Perhaps clinging to your ideas? Or inability to admit that you might be wrong? Fear of looking like a fool? Fear of death of ego?
