When you start the journey you are a fool and that's not a compliment. If you manage to go full circle and end up as wise fool you are neither wise nor a fool. The labels simply don't apply.

Looking at the etymology of charlatan, it comes from Italian word "ciarlare", meaning "to babble". Quite fitting. Especially in this case.

As for reading into -- that's how brown shirts approach Mein Kampf and sickle-hammerites treat Capital or Manifesto. War is peace and ignorance is wisdom. But to each their own.
