Well, again you posted a link to Eric S. Reiter’s article and the discussion that followed. Forgive me, but I have very little respect for FQXi if only for the reason that they are sponsored by Templeton Foundation which has a persistent and ongoing religious agenda (there are many more reasons, but I won’t go into them). That being said, description of time-less universe (what you “keep trying to start conversations about”, I suppose) is at the root of “shape dynamics” and it’s also hinted at by experiments with reversing the entropy on quantum computers (peer reviewed, mind you — something which cannot be said about experiments of Mr. Reiter). I tried to sum up these topics in an article I linked to in my initial reply. Alas, I would guess you didn’t read it. So, if that’s really the case, here I go again ;)
P.S.: I also fail to see how Mr. Reiter derives the rest of physics from his initial idea, which, again, is quite clear in the case of “shape dynamics”, etc.
