Living in the age where ignorance is called wisdom

A guy starts his TED talk, “There is this sublime question — why is there something rather than nothing?”

And the audience laughs. A camera cut reveals mostly chubby people sitting in comfy chairs of a dimly lit auditorium, chuckling and knowingly nodding.

It is strangely reminiscent of that scene from Natural Born Killers.

The guy on the stage continues with his talk with one untruth, inaccuracy, or misunderstood concept following the other, dropping names with the speed of his imaginary hat.

The audience continues laughing and wisely nods in approval.

I no longer wonder anything.
