To The Nations
If you are an observant Jew, ponder really hard the actual implications of what you already subscribe to, that is to say that there is nothing but God and that that God goes by “I am that I am.” You know, like the “I am” you are so familiar with. Also, be consistent. No loopholes and sophistries à la Rambam et al.
If you are a Christian, follow Jesus not his apostles, whether self-proclaimed or legit. Frankly, the only “scripture” you will ever need is Gospel of Thomas and Ten Words aka Ten Commandments. Learn to love the ultimate enemy. Learn to love the Devil as your brother. For he is.
If you are a Muslim, listen to your older Christian and Jewish siblings as mentioned above. They already knew what is there to know. Accept that. That they are deluded as you are today, changes absolutely nothing. Also, from what I can tell, Rumi knew. Wink-wink.
The rest of you can simply find out who you are. Just keep in mind that you are never what you see (yourself as). The range is always point-blank. In fact, it’s even closer than that.
Fingers squeezing my throat
Feel the pulse of sound;
There is something in this body
Fenced in all around.
Whose voice rings in my head
Talking to the mind?
There is something conscious of it all
I try to find.
I know I won’t get there,
Because I’m not real.
I’m just means of phrasing
of an unspeakable feel.
Right!
