Homo Neanderthalensis is there just for reference.

I have finally visualized a brief history of Homo Sapiens in context of events relevant to what I’m talking about for years. It’s striking how much the discovery of metallurgy correlates with advent of polytheism, which, subsequently, goes hand in hand with the rise of hierarchic war-waging societies that by c. 2000 BCE replaced all other types of (apparently peaceful and clearly egalitarian) civilizations.
