I say ignore the paradox, tripping or sober.

This. I would say that to embrace this way of looking at things is the key to complete integration. The interface, after all, is still the same no matter which “frequency” is tuned on the receiver.

Philip Goff […] we need only flip the priorities and make consciousness primary

Few days ago I came across Bernardo Kastrup. He proposes essentially the same (guy is philosopher and computer scientists, worked at CERN, etc.). I didn’t watch it, but he also had a debate with Goff.

Here are his entries in Scientific American:

Here’s his blog (a ton of stuff):

And here’s his worldview in a nutshell. I’m not completely on board (e.g. second-person perspective) but a lot of things I do agree with (non-duality, consciousness). He also puts a very unique idea on the table — “dissociative identity disorder”-like process as the root of illusion of separation.

interesting conversation along these lines can be found on Erik Davis’ “Expanding Mind” podcast

Indeed, it was interesting, but somehow didn’t led anywhere in the end :D Then again, I would bet that Rimell’s book is worth it even if only for its second half, which are essentially footnotes and references if I get it.
