There is only one "force in the world" -- God (see e.g. Isaiah 45:7, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things."). Not seeing that is called eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:15-17). And it's exactly why you are blind to the Kingdom, aka Eden, here and now, dead to God, expelled as it were.
