The problem is neither of this. While it's true that modern science starts to come very close to where it started (i.e. ancient metaphysical insights), Capra and Zohar are simply charlatans in both areas, "spirituality" and quantum physics, alike. Thus, they do more harm than good in terms of understanding how these two areas align. The problem is that they both have incorrect / outdated / incomplete spiritual insights and they shoehorn their scientific interpretations to fit those ideas. Just for the record -- Capra didn't bother to revisit the science that was meanwhile proved to be false (and contradicts his interpretations) in his later editions, which hardly makes him a fan of cutting-edge science (I went through that already in one of our conversations years ago, so I won't repeat myself), and Zohar supports her capitalistic worldview by spirituality and quantum physics, which is not only as far from truth as one can get, but is simply disgusting. (And you can also add Chopra with his MD diploma to that bunch too, as well as many similar, but enormously popular, “scientifically minded” spirituality hacks.)
