That quote of yours sounds very familiar, I guess I remember you saying it ;) I phrase it the way I do because human's no God but I am. But I am no human. None of us is. Yes, it's nothing special, it's simply the way things are. But it certainly puts a wholly different spin on the human experience. I'd say that we don't need to be falsely modest -- that feeds the ego too (and if someone gets off on some misconstrued notion of being special because of that, their ego has bigger problems than just that).
