Simply speaking, your true identity is not Gerald Baron. Not even human. Neither body nor mind. That's all what you (the real “you”) observe. Of course, Gerald Baron is a unique individual as is Sender Spike, but consciousness-existence (or reality-knowledge) is all there is. “I am” you exactly as “I am” me (or anyone else for that matter – hence, before Abraham was, I am). Also, the deep “interconnectedness of all things” is observable in manifested world too – see e.g. continuity of oxygen or carbon dioxide on Earth (from plants, through air, to your lungs and blood, and back), or the fact that the whole universe is basically just a handful of wave-fields that differ from each other only by values of a few variables. So yes, “We are” all “I am”.

And one more thing, if you want to know these thing first hand – I bet you know the maxim, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” As far as I can tell, if you really mean it and you don't have any preconceived answers you just seek to validate, the answers will come almost immediately. In my case, I became so frustrated that I didn't find any satisfactory answers no matter where I looked (I realized that all I see is always just my mind, and I exhausted all ideas where to look further) that I finally admitted I have no clue what is reality (i.e. existence). Was that the fabled child's mind? Beats me.
