I see Eden restored. Not in some more or less distant future. I see it now, no matter where I look. If Christian theology is correct, the Righteous One must have returned. Where does that put me?

According to overwhelming majority of Christian opinions, the return of Jesus has yet to happen. Thus, going by one of the core beliefs in Christian creed, I am either the second coming of Christ, or — and that’s a peculiarity particularly among American Evangelicals — rapture has already happened.

While the former is especially ridiculous, either option disqualifies, like, 99.9% of Christian eschatological interpretations.

Of course, Christian eschatology, as interpreted by almost all Christian sects, is derived from, and build upon, particular understanding of Jesus’ message. Or perhaps I should have said misunderstanding, because if deductions are wrong but their logic is sort of in order, it’s the propositions which must have missed the mark.

You may ask where does my confidence come from. After all, many may argue that I am just as partial, seeing the illusion of my preference.

Good question.

If you want to know the answer, set the world aside and take a peek.
