We don’t follow “leaders.” We acknowledge the state and laws … as not to draw their negative attention.

Or in other words, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s.” You’ve made a great point that we already are de facto anarchists. But let’s take it up a notch and also address that economic, communal part.

You are correct that vast majority of people are no wild beasts plotting to steal everything from anyone. But from what I can tell, it takes only a handful of folks who have no qualms about killing and stealing, and a gang in order of tens of men can terrorize a city with 30–50K inhabitants. During some time some of them die (mostly in a violent way), very few end up in prison, and the most skillful become honorable citizens (entrepreneurs, even politicians), aka new elite that goes on ruling on a whole different level (which is only stealing from a safe, lawful position).

In a communal setting where everyone has everything they need, stealing makes no sense as it gives no advantage. Thus, a power grab is less likely to happen because the power-tripping “mastermind” has no way to stimulate his/her associates. And so community can deal with an occasional socio or psychopath quite easily. Not to mention that such occurrences would be also diminished with proper “nurture” (communal anarchy vs. full-fledged capitalist jungle).

And as I said elsewhere, I’ve yet to meet a tree that knocks on people’s doors asking for refunds for all the oxygen it produced. It simply does what it does by literally being itself. And in the same way people should exist, too. Well, of course, they don’t have to, as I stated — it’s a free choice, one that trees can only dream about. But then people should have the decency accept it as their choice and not bitch about how shitty and inhuman is the society. After all, it’s that way because it was their choice.
