“Once one posits objectivity they have moved beyond the only thing they can know, experience.”
The same is true for rejecting objectivity. We are by design agnostic to existence of objectivity. But of course, you are still left with the problem of explaining why an egg most probably breaks when it falls on the ground. That is to say, why the causal outcome of subjective experience can be pretty accurately described by standard distribution probability curve (which implies clear mechanics of some sort).
“our experience is almost entirely irrational. We build prisons of reason and lock ourselves inside.”
Reason and irrationality are in themselves experiences. Giving irrationality a preferential treatment and putting it above reason is building the same prison as that of reason. Only in this case a prison of irrationality.
“Billions of people have experienced something they are taught by religion to label "soul."”
Soul is not a mere label. It contains a complete set of explanations of mechanics and ensuing implications for the nature of reality. And that's the actual problem I tackled in the OP.
“By ruling out the inaccurate religious labels science HAS NOT ruled out the experience. It has only given the experience its own inaccurate label and thereby dismissed the question.”
Science never claimed to rule out the experience. It talks about mechanics. You know, you don't fly like birds do. Just as a side note, and strictly speaking, sorcery is a very rigorous science.
“Science does a very effective job within its narrow spectrum.”
So, you admit that science, within its “narrow spectrum”, is more accurate than any other explanation. I never said anything else. I also mentioned dead ends that appear when scientists try to extrapolate the whole picture from incomplete insights. So, I don't quite get what's your point.
“Once you choose labels, religious or scientific, you are mapping experience and not experiencing experience. [...] The whole point of cleaning and arranging the Tonal is to gain access to the Nagual”
You understand that Tonal is Nagual. You may even re-label them as Ego and Unconscious. It's the same "thing." Hence, "death of Ego" or "cleaning up Tonal." Something tells me that you are guilty of what you yourself criticize in science and religion, while, (un)ironically, defending spiritual labels merely by reasoning. Well, ...
