Ok, so you believe what you believe, now tell me: are you saved? Do you live in the kingdom of God? Not in some distant future or some such, but right now. If your answer is "no" to either of those questions, then you have your answer whether we are saved by grace through faith as per your belief.
Of course that without faith you won't go anywhere. But faith serves only the purpose of trusting Jesus that the Way he outlined leads to God. Once you know God, you don't have to believe because you know. Works, then, simply mean repentance. And that means keeping the Ten Words (which is the Mosaic law, or Torah, in its entirety and the core of Jesus’ teaching). Then, if you follow the Way and repent you may be graced to eventually know God as you know Sun in the sky on a cloudless day (only even more clearly ;)).

And again, without repentance, i.e. keeping the Law, there is no "salvation" -- “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." So that's that.

And just as a side note, we all already have eternal life and are perfect. The question, and goal of all of the above, is simply realizing it. In terms of knowing as well as manifesting (i.e. taking responsibility), because one without the other is not possible.
