Of course they are. And they will always appear so. However you can also say that synchronization and harmonization are both simply change, movement, or what have you, obeying the same set of natural laws. In the same way you can say that organisms are to ecosystems just as lumps are to pudding (and of course, e.g. where are the borders of oxygen on Earth?). Even if we stay within concepts, it's really just a matter of broader generalization, which is obviously possible.
