Now that you mentioned it, I’ve already had that third dream, though it happened few days before these two.
I was living in southern England in a small coastal town at the beginning of 20th century. The whole town was living in tension as there were rumors of impeding war whispered around. One day, I roamed through the harbor and, as I walked near the provisional military outpost, I noticed a soldier who was observing something through the binoculars. He noticed me too and wave at me, calling me to him. “The war is here,” he said as I approached him. He handed me the binoculars and pointed to the north. I looked through the binoculars and in the distance I saw a huge city in some kind of fog. There was a tower shooting up from the city, and it was completely ablaze. I looked closer and it was London’s Big Ben. From two opposing sides two huge zeppelins with German iron crosses hovered slightly above it as they were throwing flames from the flame-throwers on their bows. They looked like dragons. In few moments both zeppelins collapsed and exploded, setting the whole city on fire, destroying it.
I think that it pretty much describes the situation of those sheep in that Gurdjieff’s story. A system that offers only different kinds of death is destined to self-destruct one day. And nothing wakes up people more than a necessity to reconsider their lifestyle and/or attitude.
After all, that’s what we all are going through right now — earn money and risk CV-19 and death, or fuck it and risk bankruptcy, starvation, and death.
That’s where the bold text in the article comes into play. And I guess that my “ideological” background is well known to you ;)
On the other hand, my personal standpoint is that it basically does not matter one bit. If Sender Spike dies in this upheaval, I will no doubt realize who I am in different shell(s). In ten, hundred, or thousand years — makes no difference. It will happen. Still, I have the feeling that now it’s the time of that “fabled” transition. Though it’s just my personal hunch and I’ve already been wrong many times before :D
