Most discourses that deal with study and explanation sail either in the waters of semantics or phenomenology in general. By definition, because language, in the end, is already a phenomenon. And because of the subjective nature of experience, no type of phenomenology, no matter how rigorous, can inform a valid ontology. However, such ontology can still be arrived at and formulated.
