It's not that Vedic Hinduism influenced Jewish monotheism, but that both (plus Zoroastrianism) have a common cultural ancestor that appeared in Levant with arrival of Proto-Indo-Europeans (c. 2000-1800 BCE), spread eastward into Indus Valley (c. 1800-1500 BCE), and this trend even briefly influenced Egypt (Akhenaten c. 1350 BCE).

Of course, it's just a hypothesis of how non-dual thought might have emerged and spread through the world. It is based on a simple observation that, at their core, both, Vedic Hinduism and the whole Abrahamic tradition (not so much Zoroastrianism, which however has a lot of common with Judaism), contain almost identical metaphysical maps that inevitably lead to "mystical union".
