It's not that I think I'm "beyond other people's understanding", it's just that what I'm trying to communicate is beyond my capacity to express in a clear-cut and unambiguous way. Then again, I have a suspicion that it's beyond anyone's capacity to do so (and the reasons why I think it's so I've voiced many times before). On the other hand, it's within the grasp of understanding for virtually anyone. It's just so "in your face" that it's like, "Wtf., that's it? LOL! :D "

Yes, "all states of mind are equally fine" and therefore I'm pointing out repeatedly that one should embrace "tranquility and contentment" in the same way as one embraces "horror, disgust, or angst". But for starters, instead of embracing them, discard them all. Let go of all mental states. Where does that leave you? In the same vein I urge you to subject also cosmicism to your hyper-skepticism exactly as you do with other worldviews. Honestly, flush all worldviews down a toilet and you should see what I mean.

I "pedantically ... distinguish between mind and consciousness" simply because it's a necessary step to realize what consciousness actually is and what it's not. Ironically, I would be hard pressed to describe where and if there actually is any boundary and hence an object to the subject. The best analogy I could come up with is that phenomenal world is to consciousness/existence as a hand puppet made of hand is to hand, but, again, it may evoke various kinds of interpretations and misunderstandings.

So yes, you are correct, I don't like labels. Not so much because I "don't want to be trapped by rational arguments" but more because they are misleading and shift the focus from the "substance" to the superficial detail that can be dissected ad nauseam and it still may not "reveal the substance". Though again, as you will eventually find out, they are in essence the same (not that there is some separate "essence"). Well, as I said, my linguistic skills are insufficient to describe that which births them.
