It borders on miracles, but I see only one possibility -- "enlighten" the whole human population (or at least a critical mass).
By enlightening I mean the so-called "spiritual" enlightenment (I hate that term with passion, as there's nothing "spiritual" about the process / result), which simply means bringing sufficient number of people to self-realization, that is, knowledge of absolute spatiotemporal uniformity of consciousness across life forms.
I'm fairly certain that for any human with such perspective, transactional economy is simply repulsive as they viscerally understand the interconnectedness and value equality of ... basically everything. Not to mention that there’s no need for “common enemies”, scapegoats, pyramid building vanity projects, and similar “unifying” factors in such scenario.
