Your only saving grace is that you seem to genuinely believe that you do the right thing of "truly speaking God's message," while you don't see that your faith, although not based on your own ideas and feelings, is based on ideas and feelings of those men that came before you and whom you consider as authority, trusting them that they passed you genuine God's word. Your trust is (sort of) commendable, but false and misplaced anyway.
