Indeed, and some Buddhists even bow to enormous golden statues of Buddha despite all what the man taught. Quite a contradiction, if you ask me. But why detest ego? It's a wonderful tool ;)

As for reincarnation and jumping into baby bodies, I will say just this: it is always the same singular and spatiotemporary uniform "I" that is at the "receiving end" of all experiences or lack of thereof. Or in other words, who knows the fullness of emptiness?
