I'm not saying that civilization will end. If humans survive, civilization will continue, only with different modus operandi. What better irony could you wish for than having a system that arrogantly claims to have it all figured out and being able to circumvent and subdue any opposition to rule them all, go up in flames like a fart due to its very own shortsightedness and stupidity? And as far as I can tell, we are heading there.
