I'm fairly certain that I don't need to spell out what was my point with Canaanites and Goldman Sachs. But ok:
1) Judaism and theological speculations -- the sheer size of writings such as Talmud, Mishnah, but also Kabbalah and all the authoritative texts by e.g. Rambam, Rashi, etc. (and that's just the tip of the iceberg as you are certainly well aware), which are by definition theological speculations (and man, those are some mighty hypocritical mind-pretzels to justify and/or circumvent Tanakh), pretty much undermines your whole argument.
2) Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt the Jewish sense of humor and irony which I myself am quite fond of, but Jews are not the only witty fellows on this planet (look at e.g. Taoism or Zen Buddhism), and the question still remains who's on the receiving end of the joke in practical terms, because, well, all those theological speculations mentioned above instruct real life policies to this very day with deadly seriousness (see e.g. already mentioned Canaanites/Palestinians and banking families, but also the whole orthodox community and their lifestyle and influence on politics, etc.).
3) Also, I don't quite understand your disdain for Christianity as it's essentially Pharisaic Judaism plus Messiah (which in turn is basically today's rabbinic tradition sans Moshiach). Not to mention that its original roots seem to be more or less identical with ideology of Essenes who, too, were a Jewish sect. So, when you criticize Christianity you criticize Judaism. Hm, ... O_o
