Idol is any image of God whether it speaks or not. With that being said, I see you refer to yourself as "I am". So, you are obviously familiar with "I am". Now, consider the only place in Bible where God explicitly stated his name in a way for people to clearly understand and ponder that verse very good. Do I need to say more? Maybe only know yourself and you will know whom we (also) call God.
