I wonder whether Castaneda was familiar with Wetiko. As for survival, I’m more concerned with the question whether we can wake up before we die. After all, no one gets here out alive. Also from a certain moment the whole idea of life and death makes no “sense” to me — there’s only change. But yeah, some changes are pretty profound ;)
