I remember already reading your essay and I (still) pretty much agree with what you write in there. As for whether Pentateuch is factual -- of course it is not. At least not in the sense of objective factual retelling of historical events. Simply speaking, it's a myth. But. It eerily corresponds with known historical developments, some that go almost 100K years back (and even further).
