I pity a child whose parents don't tell them to reflect on what they do because they want to preserve some sense of false security or they don’t want to hurt the child's feelings. You seem to imply that there is either unquestionable support or humiliation. That's a false dichotomy, because in the middle there is proper guidance. Youngster entered showbiz and has famous parents, the rest goes with the territory (btw. his production, even if not original and lyric-wise rather deplorable as is all drill music, is top-notch).
