Science-heads on Medium yell at me whenever I suggest scientists put sustaining a certain worldview over the actual truth.
I looked at it from the other side of “barricade”, but essentially it’s the same. I personally see no difference between Chopra and Dennett, or Sheldrake and Dawkins, etc. These are just two sides of the same coin. The same dirt that stains the search for truth.

That’s not what I meant. Yes, the attitude and climate is as you describe it, but if I take into account the historical record of religious and spiritual fraud, that dismissive attitude is more than understandable. And scientists think twice if they jeopardize their credibility, especially when their area of expertise is not exactly metaphysical.
