I like to say that meaning of life is said life itself because, frankly, I cannot see any other meaning beyond that (if it even can be called a meaning). However, even without "why," "ought" is pretty much set by possible causal outcomes, each of which is deterministic on its own. Naturally, it matters a lot, then, how broad one's perspective is. And there is no broader perspective than absolute self-knowledge.
