I have read about Saul babbling something about abolishing the law. Jesus, on the other hand, was quoted to speak about law’s fulfillment and that it — law — will be valid till the end of time, IIRC. Also, all what the man asked of his followers was to keep the "two great commandments" (which essentially means the Ten Words) to a T. That is, without compromise, excuses, and exceptions. He also spoke about don't praying in public and similar minor things pertaining to performative religion and empty ritual (not that there is one that’s not empty). Reading your semantic quibble, I don't wonder that there are no Christians, only some folks who cloak themselves in Jesus' name in order to feel good about themselves even as they shrug off their inability to put their acts where their mouth is, marveling at their own magnificence, “Ah, we are so lovingly sinful.” Give me a break O_o
