Not only in the way you describe it (“I love apple“ vs “I hate apple“), but also on a more fundamental level. That is, your raw perception of red is let's say “100101” while my is “110001”, and it has nothing to do with either our personal preferences or assigned labels (though to be precise, both of them influence the raw perception). I would guess that you didn’t bother to read the article I linked to few posts ago.
