I don't share Kastrup's sentiment of myth and no-myth. We will always have myths. However, there are myths that lead to truth, and there are those which don't. The latter are either in need of an update or they are simply a form of entertainment at best. At worst, they are a dangerous scam.

As for your article you linked to – I remember reading it back then, but all I can say is what I would have said before. And that is that you have a very incorrect idea about non-dualism. While it's true that the goal is to go beyond myth, it does not mean that those things that fascinate you (basically “animistic magic”) suddenly disappear. You just get a proper handle on them, because where magic teaches “how” enlightenment explains “why”. And without the latter, the former is always just a hit-or-miss – a cosmic pinata with wildly unpredictable outcomes, more often than not rather unfortunate.
