I always wondered what difference does it make. Whether Jesus was resurrected or not, it has no significance on the validity of his(?) teachings. Well, those Christians that believe in resurrection as a hinge point of Christianity are in it for personal gain. Quite ironic as they are in for a huge disappointment. Now a little bit of factography — most of the oldest fragments of the original new testament manuscripts can be dated around 200 CE, i.e. the age of e.g. Irenaeus who's opus Against Heresies (oldest fragments, too, date to ca. 200 CE) also contains extensive references to them. Also let’s not forget that original Mark, considered to be the oldest of synoptics, has no resurrection story — women simply arrive to an empty tomb, and that’s that.
