“Holy” is derived from Proto-Indo-European term for “whole, uninjured, healthy”. But that's just an aside. If you could, as you claim, “see the truth of the sacred”, you would not make distinctions between profane and holy. You would see them as one. Your problem is that you search for a literal door. Your mind is full of idolized images you try to string together into a coherent picture (your admiration of Catholic cannibalism speaks for itself). Won't happen.
What may happen, on the other hand, is that if you throw away your mind idols, you may eventually see what you are eager to see even though you won't be looking at anything else than what you are looking at right now. Not in a sense that some new dimensions will open to you – you already perceive all that is there to perceive. The only thing that may change is that your ignorance will be decimated by unshakable knowledge.
