For a while, I was thinking about this bit, "if it makes any difference," and I must correct that statement a little. I know it makes a difference, I just don't know (nor particularly care) how much it reaches beyond myself. I mean, I don't know how many people, if any, stopped stealing because of my work, or how many people I managed to influence to follow my example. What I know for sure, however, is that I certainly reduced my imprint in the scheme, and not just shifted the burden somewhere else under some dubious (moral) assumptions.
