Finality and Common Ground
We want to build a mother ship and go for the stars while we already have one that is already on its way and is, moreover, perfectly suited for us as we are part and parcel of its processes. But people will rather argue about arguments than look at reality.
They argue and ignore the obvious with such zeal that one may start to think there’s some disguised motivation behind the openly proclaimed noble goals. Something akin to competition, victory, and advancing or reinforcing of social position. Something that also requires shock and standing out to grab attention in order to become a triumphant hero in a legendary battle.
The same is true when it comes to consciousness and nature of being — one non-experience is enough to know for sure, yet people are scared of finality so much that they rather argue about arguments and look the other way.
That’s how transactional mindset corrupts.
Can you really blame the rich, the powerful, the famous? Can you really blame all those people who climb the ladder of officials for the very same reasons? If you understand why those people do what they do, you see that they need help more than damnation. After all, imagine what they must have been put through to end that way. In any case, they clearly struggle with temptations and fears of transactional mindset.
You cannot escape that mindset while you fear for your sorry ass. And you cannot stop fearing for your sorry ass while you don’t trust. You also cannot trust while you don’t have sufficient reasons for it. Trust will never amount to complete certainty, but even sufficient reasons for it are out of the question while you search or expect those reasons from outside of you — that’s where blame and disappointment live.
I could not find anything that would be able to give said reasons, except the implications which come with self-realization. Finality of the knowledge, the absolute certainty that I can never not be who and what I really am, is simply liberating. Yes, finality brings an end. But it’s the end to illusions and also the actual start of life. A life that was until then insidiously nudged in predictable and self-defeating directions.
So, don’t be afraid and commit to the truth. Eventually, you will discover that our common ground is unshakable and final either way. Well, it’s who we are and it cannot be otherwise because it already is so.
