As I've already mentioned -- no suffering, bliss of perfection in the minute mundane events of everyday life, clarity of personal responsibility and the power to enact it without fear (of death), unmovable reference point and absolute certainty in what can be known beyond any doubt, etc.
Simply speaking, it gives complete satisfaction to what we yearn the most, and, conversely, liberates us from desperate yearnings that are not even ours.
To put it in yet another way, it's freedom from wetiko, flyer, devil, you name it. It's the only way to keep the parasite away. So before one gets "there" (which is always here and now) one is fully in its grasp, no matter how free one may think they are. And it becomes obviously clear once the parasite departs -- you either see the truth or you don't. Exactly as a hot stove -- you either know it burns or you don't.
I think the consequences of not getting "there" are pretty clear.
I could give concrete examples what that means in your particular case, but are you sure you want to hear it? I'm fairly certain you won't like the answer :D
