As I argued elsewhere, the main problem of current state of affairs is to convince the societies at large to even adopt ideas that would allow such habituation. I don't say that "full-fledged" enlightenment should be a prerequisite, but to enact even the system you propose, in effect, you have to steer people toward it. And at that point, when folks would understand that profit driven mindset should be replaced with a giving one, you can as well aim for the ideal "end state" directly. That, of course, does not preclude implementation of intermediate steps (if desired and if time constraints allow it), but it also allows to outline the end goal clearly and beyond any doubt.
