Are you sure about that? As I see it, shamanism was the secular norm before it split into its various forms which you describe. Philosophy, science, medicine, etc. didn't absorb shamanism, they were birthed by it. And of course, I would certainly not talk about “naturalization” of shamanism given its naturalistic animistic roots.
