“believe it away” … “explain it away” … These are equal dodges

And that was the sole reason I asked you those three questions in my original response to your article. It is also the reason why I put so much emphasis on critical thinking. Castaneda would call it brutal honesty. People often imagine it as running around and calling everyone names. Sometimes they even call it authenticity. But to me it’s just being honest with oneself. Skeptical toward everything. So, I was basically asking you, “Are you sure you are not believing it away?” And the answers are certainly not for me (to know).

Not kind of — we are doing exactly that :D That’s also why I try to say what the choir needs to hear and not what in wants to hear. I guess, it also explains why there are so few people that are still willing to speak to me :D
