A variation of that fraud is known as Pyramid scheme. It's therefore natural that hierarchic war-waging civilizations resemble Ponzi scheme. I still don't understand, however, why you systematically ignore millennia of (huge!) egalitarian civilizations that existed well into c. 2000 BCE. Yes, the model of civilization we have today is an unsustainable fraud, but it is not the only model of civilization that can exist. Furthermore, drawing conclusions about essence of life from such skewed position only because it fits your analogy is then pure insanity and prime example of Ponzi scheme thinking you decry.
